Just a quick share......

I did manage to finish the other stitched cards that I worked on at Margaret River so here they are.
Love the metallic thread used with metallic peel offs to create a simple easy design. This pattern is a simpler pattern to stitch so the kids had a go starting on these and got easily bored so Mum took over and finished it off.
A little trim of an edge and add a border to it with the Fiskars Scalloped edge border punch and some more peel offs and it works again.
This has to be my favourite though. It took forever to decide what to do in the centre of this stitched pattern and when I stumbled across this blog of free cutting SVG files it quickly made itself clear to me. I cut the doily file with my Ecraft and added some fine peel off dots and a little bling to the centre. A peel off greeting and some paper lace trim completed it.
Happy craftin' all......

A question to ponder........

So, if you are a non crafter I would love for you to leave me a comment and tell me if you think it is "cheap" of someone to send you a handmade card? I'm not easily offended so don't be afraid to comment. If you are a crafting friend I would love to hear from you if you have experienced anything similar to the above experience. Anyway..... back to my crafting endeavours..... I have been working on some more Christmas cards for my stash and playing with a new (second-hand) stamp. I bought it thinking it was a background stamp as there was no stamped image with it and when I stamped it I quickl…

The cyber crop last weekend

Last weekend was the cybercrop at Home and Scrapped and lucky for me there was a Pizza and papercrafting night on so I got to work on some challenges. Thanks Ann for the great timing.
Heather started the weekend with another Step-by step and I got to use up some scraps on this one. A Cricut cut title with the font from the Cricut Craft room which I haven't used before. I actually don't mind it.

The theme of the CC was autumn so most of the layouts involved using autumn colours. this was Karen's challenge to use brown, orange, maroon, green and yellow and lift a layout that she had done. I wanted to keep it playful and found some cute stickers in my stash that worked. Some lovely Heather flowers from her shop and a little stamping made for a nice layout in the end.

Jewels 1st challenge was to use a PDF of some autumn leaves by Rebecca Ludens from about.com and cut them in at least 5 papers and use them on a layout. I actually converted the PDF to a JPEG, imported it into…
